STALL CONDITIONS THAT NEED MORE SUPPORT - HELP CREATE A BETTER ENVIRONMENT
How Profile Environmental Care® Works
Profile Environmental Care® is designed to work beneath stall bedding, where moisture, ammonia, and bacterial growth typically develop. By placing Profile between the bedding and the stall floor, it helps manage moisture at the source rather than only addressing odors at the surface.
This placement allows Profile to support a drier, cleaner, and more stable stall environment over time.
Typical Stall Setup
Top Layer – Bedding Material
Hay, straw, shavings, or other stall bedding provide comfort and insulation for animals. While bedding improves comfort, it can trap moisture and organic waste if moisture is not controlled beneath it.
Middle Layer – Profile Environmental Care®
Profile forms a porous mineral layer beneath the bedding that actively draws moisture out of the bedding above it. This helps reduce ammonia odors, limit bacterial growth, and improve overall stall air quality.
Bottom Layer – Stall Floor / Substrate
The stall floor or ground acts as the foundation of the bedding area. Profile helps create a barrier that reduces moisture wicking up from the ground while absorbing excess moisture from above. This helps extend bedding life and maintain more consistent stall conditions.
Why This Matters
By managing moisture below the bedding surface, Profile helps maintain drier bedding, reduce odors and ammonia, and support a cleaner environment for animals and caretakers. Addressing moisture where it starts allows the stall to stay comfortable and hygienic for longer periods
